Streamwalker--It is a great report, but just so you know it is 10 years old, so keep that in mind(things possibly have changed, but I doubt much).

I didn't see any mention of any of the Plantation Homes on the River Road(not sure exactly what he meant about the 4 land road, the River Road is a Lane the best I remember.
Also, Emeril might make a Banana Cake(I have no idea), but his signature sweet is Banana Cream Pie.

Hi - I was surprised to see this resurface (although I referenced it in another thread.) Yes, over nine years ago (time flies when you're losing your marbles.)

AFAIK the "Great River Road" is a monicker hung on various stretches of road from Louisiana all the way to Minnesota (or maybe Canada) and in parts of Mississippi it's applied directly to US 61.

Banana pudding cake.

I'm shocked that his Banana Pie isn't on there. I thought it was available in every restaurant of his. Even Wolfgang rages about his pie. I've had it twice, and while good, didn't think it was outrageously good.

Gardyloo-I didn't notice the date at first. Then when I saw your comment about Krispy Kreme's only coming to the PNW a year or two before, I thought you were nuts since I remember when they opened their first place in WA, lol. Then I figured it out Anyway, your TR might be a few years old, but I enjoyed it and it reminded me of our trip there last year.
