Thought I would post this from the Tribeca Citizen, this is a wonderful event to take part in: If you’ve never checked out the Tribeca Open Artist Studio Tour, which starts this Friday April 23rd and runs through Monday April 26th, you should. TOAST is far more than a chance to look at art. “It’s a rare opportunity to see artists and their art in the space where they created it,” says director and participating artist Shawn Washburn.

I love this event. I thought I would start Friday at 5 and do a couple of places before heading to Brooklyn for a lecture at the Historical Society but the lecture was just postponed so I will probably wander for a couple of hours.

Hey this is weird, my post above was just posted on my Facebook page, word for word, and not by me! There is a logo near it that says "Fodor's Approved" and a link back to this page/this post.

Looks like maybe TOAST threw it out there via Fodor's (?) and because I am a "fan" of TOAST on facebook my own post from here ended up on my facebook page.

Creepy to see your post from here appear in other places because someone pushed a button.

Yeow - My blog posts end up on facebook when I choose to have them there. Facebook doesn't do the honors. Not a fan of TOAST on facebook so it didn't happen to me.

Yeah, I can see it if I had linked my postings, or if I had hit the FB button up top, but the post came from TOAST, with the Fodor's icon and "approval" right beside my post from here. Weird. I am not longer a FB fan of TOAST, but I will certainly support the event and the artists.
