There are two game arcades closeby. One is on TI and you can't miss it, very colorful building (next to grocery store), more like a carny place. The other (cheaper, homespun, friendly supervision) is at the corner of Blind Pass Rd. and 73rd (?) next to the bike rental. There is a many miles long bike trail called the Pinellas trail (but June might be too hot for that). In St. Pete go to the Pier, 2nd floor has free aquarium sponsored by marine folks at nearby U. of S. FL. Lots of shops, restaurants, fishing. Sunken Gardens recently added the Hands On Childrens' Museum, great value as this is city-run. Wave-runner rentals are popular, suggest you stay on the bayside away from swimmers in tranquil waters. Busch Gardens and Adventure Island are in Tampa, both are terrific in the summer with their many water-themed get-wet rides. Also in Tampa is the Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo, and the Museum of Science and Industry (excellent science center). Be sure to take the kids to the Chattaway for outdoor burgers, and to the Coney Island Hot Dogs -- both in downtown SP, retro old Florida, and low-budget.
Go to Ft. DeSoto St. Park where there are three natural Florida islands, interesting vegetation and shoreline. Look into boat trips to Egmont Key in the mouth of Tampa Bay for a tour of the island, one of the nation's first National Parks named as such by Teddy Roosevelt when he began the parks system.
In June you will want to be at the beach in the AM, make plans for lunch and mid-day indoor activities, then back to the beach for sunset. I hope your trip is a good one.

We ate at Crabby Bill's which was a bit of an adventure - though not strictly an activity per se. We live in Colorado so the traditional looking seafood cafe was fun for us.
We went to the Clearwater Aquarium - which is mostly sealife rescue and rehab. Our kids had a great time at the hands-on sting ray exhibit. (They "de-sting" the sting rays).
