We're going to Niagara the week of July 12 with a 19 year old and 9 year old. I found a lot of good information (attractions, hotels, etc.) on this web site: www.tourismniagara.com. Good luck!

HI! I am going to Niagara Falls with my 9 and 11 yr old cousins and family. I found some great stuff in Iloveny.com and here is another web page :
www.niagara-usa.com - you can get free brocheres from here ( like I have one in my hand right now) and some great info on Niagara falls. As for the place itself, I have already been there a few years ago and I have to say the Maid of The Mist tour under Niagara Falls is as good as it gets. It was so fun! I hope its good, and have fun!

We went to Niagra, 2 years ago with an 11 and 13 year old. Have to say, if you don't already have reservations, I suggest you stay on the Canada side of Niagra. I was real dissappointed at the NY side. We had a great time. I recommend taking the escored tours. We took 2 tours with Bedore Tours. One picked us up about 9 am. We went all over Niagra including the Maid of the Mist boat ride. It was great. We saw everything and did not have to deal with the massive amounts of people and the parking. We then took the night tour which was excellent. We were able to see just about everything in one day without the headaches of driving/walking and parking. Not many restaurants on NY side. We spent all of our time on the Canada side, except to sleep. Good luck! Hope you have a great time.

Take them to the Cave of the Winds on the U.S. side. They close it occasionally but you will be walking on a catwalk very close to the bottom of the falls and it's quite an experience. You might also take the kids to the park and beach at Beaver Island which is on the Niagara River above the American falls. Lots of families living in the area like it very much.

Hi there,
I would strongly suggest a visit to the Butterfly Conservatory located just outside of Niagara Falls on the Niagara Parkway...a great place for everyone to see butterflies of all kinds. Take a short trip to Niagara On the Lake to visit a historical fortress and all the great shops in a quaint English town. Have fun
