Train ride from Felton, CA to Santa Cruz
I just found the website for Roaring Camp Railroads and am thinking of doing the round trip from Felton to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Has anyone had any experience with them?

It is fun for kids - or for adults with kids. Perhaps not that much fun for adults alone. It is a pretty ride and bumpy. Then you have to get back again, too!
There is also a loop ride in Felton that brings you back to your starting point - (your car) - and does not go to the beach.

I posted about this on your other thread. Our school goes here every year for an end-of-the-year trip for the fourth graders. They do the loop through the mountains in Felton. We've been doing it for something 20 years. The kids love it. I loved it too, when my parents would take us there when we were kids.
