toursunlimited San Francisco

Has anyone used this tour company for tours to Vegas or Monterey. Any recommendations on any other companies that may assist us. Is the aquarium really worth trying to visit in a day trip from San Francisco.

JB, where did you hear about this tours unlimited? This name is not familiar to me, can't recall an ads from this company, and I check the tour booklets fairly often. I tried to search for the web page, but no luck. Can you please post the URL or tell where they advertise?

Took a quick look at website (yes, very boring day at work)--not very impressive in terms of details or anything else. Some friends of family used travelsf.com tours and seemed happy. In response to question re Aquarium, I believe most of these tours cover more of the Monterey Pennisula than just the Aquarium and that area is very much worth a trip, in fact, Monterey/Carmel/Big Sur is worth more than a day.

I looked at the website - there is e-mail and phone in "contact us", no address, no license number. Personally I wouldn't use them.

I took Gray Line tour of Monterey and was very pleased. Aside from the aquarium which was not really worth a visit for us - there are several similar ones in Bay Area - the trip was wonderful, the guide did not close his mouth giving lots of info, we did the 17 miles and Carmel, and I was not sorry we went there.

As for Vegas... you may be better on your own with the options of bus tours out of Vegas. Check Southwest airlines out of Oakland (connection by BART and shuttle).
