Topsail vs Emerald Isle for Remote Beach Vacation with Good Fishing
Hello! My husband and I are deciding between Topsail, North Carolina and Emerald Isle, North Carolina for a one week vacation in June (and will be renting a VRBO house.) We are looking for something as least crowded as possible, or that has a less crowded beach that we could drive to, go surf fishing and see the sunset. Understood that time a year that all beaches will be somewhat busy! We can also park with a car and walk out to a 4 WD beach (we don't have a 4 WD.)
We frequently go to Hatteras NC, and realize both Topsail and Emerald Isle will be more crowded than this. But trying to understand which location is more similar, since I'm reading conflicting things. No need for restaurants, activities etc. Any advice or information on either area is very much appreciated!
