Top 10 NYC Christmas sights
My husband, myself and our 21 year old son will be in NYC for about 6 hours on Saturday and want to see Christmas sights. We've been several times before but never during the Christmas season. What shouldn't we miss? (I know there is another thread but it didn't get many responses). Also, any suggestions for lunch? We are either driving in or taking public transportation from Kinnelon NJ. Any thoughts on what's best? Any parking gargages near the sights? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Consider hiring phototrektours.com and ask him to design a route. Use iconparking.com and reserve a space in a convenient location (either midtown west if you'll enter thru the Lincoln Tunnel or upper west side if you come over the GW bridge). For this Sat. public trans. might be best but don't know what your options are from Kinnelon.
Rockefeller Center tree and ice rink
Saks light show across the street (starts at 4 pm I think)
Lord & Taylor windows at 39 st. & Fifth
Bergdorf windows 59th & 5th
Barney's windows
Bryant Park Xmas market and ice rink
Ice rink in Central Park
lighting of the Xmas tree at Met Museum (4:30, 5:30, 6:30)
Get some window previews here
