RAVE: Long Live Freaky Friday
Rants and Raves!

RAVE: Long Live it's humble
celebration of the 1st Amendement!

RAVE: It's quite allright to be
saddend at life's loss and illness, turns and twists.

RAVE: As it is quite allright to turn off the news,or these postings,
if you are near being nauseated of hearing about it 24/7.

I wish a warm embrace for loss and illness and a glowing light to find
your way.

...and I wish everyone a date to the prom!

R5

mikemo, please tell me more. So many Americans visit Egypt, is it really all that dangerous?

P. S. We missed you at the DFW GTG.

I must really be on someone's s... list as I posted some generic recs (www.guidelive.com; Kimbell and Amon Carter in Ft Worth) to a request for things to do in D for 2 days. Those are gone.
P_M: 'Tho many Germans have not been well treated in Egypt, apparently those with USA PP's are singled out upon entry.
I missed the vulgar stuff today, but I did want to reiterate my admiration of the docs and nurses who remain.

Cassandra, your post today brought tears to my ears. What a beautiful image you shared with us. I hope to be that lucky in my transition.

And congrats on the special birthday...oops! sorry, ANNIVERSARY.

Wishing everyone a wonderful spring weekend!

I missed all the excitement today. That's what I get for working in the yard.

Budman-Right on!

Cassandra-Sorry, for your loss.

Ryan-Hang in there!

Jor-Sorry, about your diabetes. One of my dd's first grade friends was just diagnosed.

Rave-Beautiful spring day!

No rants today.

I missed the thread getting yanked...but the direction it was going I am not surprised. Anyway...

Rave--Girlfriends from WA coming to visit soon and the general manager of the 5th Avenue Suites was very gracious in accommodating our wishes. It will be a ladies weekend out...no dh's or children...just the ladies catching up.

Rave: North Carolina Tar Heels - 2005 NCAA Men's Basketball Champs!!! (I promise to shut up about it now!!! )

My thoughts are with all of you who have suffered losses or who are enduring illnesses yourself. God bless........

Cassandra, your earlier post really touched my heart, and I wish you Happy Birthday! Our age is not so bad........

Hi Cigalechanta! FFR&R started off on the wrong foot and went quickly down from there - that's all I'll say on the matter.

Are you getting ready for marathon excitement? My son can't wait - even though he will only be a spectator.

Rave: DD had a great time in Mexico! They helped build the pastor a home and she taught Bible stories to the little children. Made lots of friends and can't wait to go back!

Rave: Miss Congeniality2 was very fun and a great movie! Sandra Bullock was excellent, as always.

Rave: More rain and snow! We're going snowboarding tomorrow, should be nice.

Rave: DD is doing wonderfully at swimming. Working very hard. It's a great team and she's in excellent physical condition.

Rave: Had a nice birthday dinner at a Japanese restaurant we like. Those kids can really pack away the California rolls, LOL!

Rave: Planning a trip to Carmel for next month. We got invited to the Highland's Inn timeshare. $79/night for up to three nights if you listen to a 90 min. presentation. Can't beat that!

Happy Weekend, happy travels and planning! ***kim***

Kim, hope you are good at saying "No thanks" - those timeshare presentations are hard sells and always last more than 90 minutes.

FFR&R done by 1:30 pm. Wow, must have been brutal. Let me guess, Pope's and politics.

Rant: You just can't mix church and state.

not much on the Pope, it was the other one. Although I missed the final blows, but what I saw was people going in swinging hard.

The thought police are watching. Be careful and speak only in nice little words about nice things.
