Tickets to Disneyworld

We will be traveling to the Disneyworld next month. What is the most economical way of purchasing the park tickets? Disneyworld.com offers Park Hopper® 4-Day Tickets for $203. Is it a good price? Will I be able to buy tickets cheaper directly in the parks or, perhaps, in the hotel?

Thank you.

I bought tickets off of Ebay. I was skeptical, but it worked.

I think Park Hopper tickets are the way to go. That way you can visit all the parks without paying for them individually, and unused days never expire. (Just in case you ever go back!) I can't tell you about getting the tickets cheaper somewhere else, but I know that the website price is the same as the park gate price. Have fun!

Waltmart in Kissimee which is a few miles from WDW sells Disney tickets for about 90% of face value. If you have a large family, it might be worth while.

Just a note on the above Wallmart idea- they do not sell single day tickets, only hoppers.

I did 2 timeshare tours and got some fantastic deals on admission tickets -
1st - 2 free adult single day tix &
10.00 off 3 other single day
2nd - 2 one day tix for 20.00

You very likely want nothing to do with timeshare deals - just thought I would pass it on. It worked great for us to save a lot of money. Besides, our (older) kids were at Universal/IOA for the day and we didn't have too much of anything planned that morning anyway, and the weather was lousy.

Vince,

You can get a Disney Club Card for $29.99 which can or cannot be worth its cost. This is what it'll get you:

1. Discounts at Resorts
2. 4 day hopper for $196(adult)
3. 20% off food(Dolphin & Swan Resort)

The card is a great idea. The Swan has a great Japanese restaurant -- the discount applies. It doesn's in their steak house.

A 4 Day Park Hopper pass is $99 for people who live in Florida and you have to show proof of Florida residency when you buy it AND when you visit since so many of us (Floridian here) have bought them in the past and "lent" them to visiting relatives!
