This is a good new look? Really?

My title to this is my impression. It looks like AOL in the 90's.

So far I'm not a fan. I miss Jump to
Bottom and Back to Top function.

I miss jump to bottom and back to top also.
Has anyone figured out a quick way to jump to the bottom. Is there something I am missing?

lol. Right?? I said that on the help forum thread. Time travel, and not in a good way. I’ve always been suspicious of time travel. I mean, what are the chances you’d go back to a good time? Far more likely that you’d land in the midst of famine, plague, or fashion disaster.
Editing...because I can now...
is it just me or do the edit/report icons not show up? I can push them and they work, but they’re identical blank squares. And why switch over the site if the profiles stay the same?

Ok, so far I've tried to reply but some how it got lost. I'm not loving this format. Like where is the home key on a MacBook Pro?

What I find glaring is the thick black bold topic headings. Wow. But in the Lunge they are green and less stroke inducing. Strange.

I think it has something to do with the winter Olympics. Tuscan is excited. I do wonder what nyt has to say about it all.

But mostly I wonder why that is the only forum with less glaring font/color thread topic titles.

FWIW, there's a "View First Unread" option to the left under the thread title, that at least lets you go close to the end, but I think it only might only appear or work once you've looked at something in the new format. (I haven't spent any time testing) Today, it's taking me to the last page of comments; when in the sandbox, it took me to the actual last post I hadn't read. Time will tell!

And at the very bottom of the screen, you can at least navigate to the first and last pages of comments.

Of course it will take some getting use to, but I think it’s an improvement. It’s difficult to undo years of familiarity and readjust. Challenge yourself.

The spamvertising continues, I thought this change was supposed to make it go away? Did the secret mods all quit?
