Is there anything to do in boston OTHER than us history crap?

Of course! What kinds of things did you have in mind?

ANYTHING touristy other than US history....I mean... zoos, any non-hostorical attractions... anything lol
non-extravagant shopping... etc

There are tons of stuff to do and I'm sure you'll get a lot of suggestions, but here are 2: If you like museums the Museum of Fine Art is fabulous, as is the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum - it's a wonderful Venetian palazzo - the terms of Mrs. Gardner's will stated that there must be no change in the placement of art and decorative objects within the galleries, so entering the museum is like stepping back to the 19th century. There is also a cafe here. This might seem a bit like "history" but it is very cool - and not boring at all (no lectures on Paul Revere here lol!) Have fun!

Mediocre zoos, although Franklin Park is improving. (Stone Zoo closed for repairs). New England Aquarium has fish. Museum of Science has no history stuff, just physics, meteorology, guts, Omni theatre, some life science. North End has Italian food. Near that is Haymarket - an old-time (not too historical) pushcart produce and fish market. Also close by is Quincy Market - small shops, but not cheap. Be careful, because at the end of Quincy Market is Faneuil Hall, and that is very historic. If you are not careful, from there you could end up on the Freedon Trail. Harbor cruises, duck tours, harbor islands are safe.

Try the duck tour, although it is a bit historical it's a hoot- The vehicle goes on the street as well as under water. You can just shut out te tour guide if your learning too much

Sports --you have the Rd Sox, Celtics Bruins & patriots as well as pro Soccer (The Minutemen I think-sorry)

Tons of restaunts, shop & great old buildings.
Harvard Square is really nice
Lots oof good music at night (depending what your into)

Quincy Market is lots of fun, and the aquarium is nearby (being a penguin freak, I particularly like their exhibit). Non-extravagant shopping can be found in Filene's Basement - it's certainly non-extravagant,although you have to dig around for the really good bargains.

If you don't like "history crap" then why don't you visit Branson or Gatlinburg?
