OK guys I live in the Sacto area and in July we get out of town because it's hot hot hot. Where do we go? Tahoe for 2 weeks. They'd be heading in the wrong direction!

I'm w/ Suzie. I live near Sacramento too.

Umm - let's see - a week in Reno/Tahoe in July? A week in Sacto in July? Oh I know -- A WEEK IN RENO/TAHOE! Unless of course you want 100F. But it's a dry heat

Of course Reno can get hot too (spend your time at Tahoe)

I live in Reno, and they have been trying to fix it up (a downtown train trench and no traffic) I`d go to Tahoe too. But there are good day trips out of Reno, as already mentioned. My family came for 10 days and we were never at a loss of things to do. But our favorite was staying at Tahoe! Just beautiful. The Summer music series will be going on while you are here.. It`s on Wednesday nights, but I don`t know your dates. They go through August 9. Sparks has a farmer`s market every Thursday evening and they are fun, with live music.
