Mandalay Bay and the Venetian. In that order.

Yes, the bathrooms at the Venetian are fabulous (as is the whole room) but none have natural light. I always use the magnifying, light up mirror in most of the nicer hotels because I think all the bathrooms are too dark for my liking.

Have to disagree strongly with Venetian lighting being good...I had to apply my make-up with a compact mirror by the window so that i didn't look freakish when I stepped into daylight...for the casinos though it is probably pretty accurate.

Bellagio
They have big lights over the mirror and a lit magnifying mirror.

I liked the bathrooms at Paris. But then again I don't wear make-up.

Don't know about the facilities in the rooms, but the Ladies Room off the main casino area of Paris is extraordinary. Rows of handpainted pedestal sinks with fancy framed mirrors above. It was so cool a friend of mine had her picture taken by one of the rows of sinks! Vegas is a real "trip."

If the bathroom is a big deal, stay in one of the Salone Suites at Bellagio as the bathroom has its own window, just over the jacuzzi bathtub. These suites are at the end of the hall which means you'll have a view in two directions.

If you really want to splurge, get a Bellagio suite as the room has 2 1/2 baths. One bathoom has the jacuzzi tub and the other has the shower that doubles as a steam romm.

I wear make-up and didn't have any complaints about the nice bathroom at the Paris!

I agree with uhoh. DH and I compared casino bathroom experiences and Paris won hands down!

I found our bathroom at Paris very dark. Hard to apply makeup without going out to the mirror in the main room. I wonder why the discrepancy in opinions?

Joan -

Now there's an issue worth pondering - differing opinions re: best lighting in Vegas hotel rooms for applying makeup. Do some women actually worry about this when planning a vacation?

This woman certainly doesn't worry about those things! I'll never understand why women spend so much money on makeup. Just the smell alone bothers me!

We stayed in a suite at Paris that had two bathrooms (we were upgraded!) Both had plenty of light for applying make-up. The Venetian also has very nice, luxurious bathrooms with plenty of light. The Mirage has horrible lighting, so avoid it for sure.

If you're lucky enough or wealthy enough to get the masquerade suite at the Rio, the masterbath has floor to ceiling windows. The entire suite was beautiful.

Yes, unlike the majority of visitors to Vegas, I actually care about what I look like.
