THANKSGIVING O3
Thanks Mclaurie, I can't wait. I have been seeing alot that "Hairspray" is the play to see. I looked at ticket prices, are they always $200 each? If that's the case, I will have to pass as I am treating my daughters and we will be in NY a week.

HowardR thanks so much for the info. Is that 800 number only for Hairspray? I really want to see that play, I can remember my 23 year old daughter watching the movie version over and over again. I also want to see "The Play I Wrote", I have seen good reviews on that. Anything else anyone wants to share, I appreciate it. I know its a long time off but I just would like to have as much planned as possible. I want to make this a birthday to remember. What about the Macy's parade on Thanksgiving day? DO you have to be on the streets at 2 am?!

That number is for all the shows that Ticketmaster handles. Between them and Telecharge (800-432-7250), they handle all the Broadway shows except for the Disney ones (800-439-9000). The Play That I Wrote probably will have closed by November.
Incidentally, Thanksgiving weekend is a busy one in New York, so you'd be wise to order theater tickets now.

HowardR thanks for the heads up. I will actually be there the weekend before. How about the Macy's parade. Is it worth making the effort or would watching it better? Lion King, would I go through Disney for that. Thanks for your help!
