Thanksgiving in Oahu

I'm guessing all the restaurants will be open. Are you looking for a traditional turkey dinner? Or just a nice place to eat?
I'd go with any of the restaurants that strike your fancy that have an ocean view. Hau Tree Lanai at New Otani is beautiful. All the hotels have nice places to eat... Moana Surfrider, Royal Hawaiian, Halekulani, the two Outrigger properties.

I believe this will be our six trip over Thanksgiving and I have not noticed any closed restaurants. If you are looking for a "traditional" Thanksgiving meal, many places offer it. We do Duke's Canoe Club, which offers a traditional Thanksgiving meal, but we opt for our own traditional meal of fresh Hawaiian fish and Hula Pie. Turkey and pumpkin pie I can make any time! Where ever you go make reservations. Duke's for example books about 6 weeks out.

Heard back from the Moana surrfider about dinner. No reservations for the Veranda but indoors they have a buffet on thanksgiving at $79.00 pp. I couldn't eat that much food to pay 79.00! think I;ll try something else......

Try the Willows Restaurant. Its out of Waikiki, which is nice, and the atmopshere is beautiful. If 3660 On The Rise or Alan Wong's are doing Thanksgiving dinner I would check into those too; again, outside of Waikiki - more upscale local dining. Both 3660 On The Rise and Alan Wong's book way in advance for regular nights, so I am sure Thanksgiving will too.
