Thanksgiving in ???

We are thinking about travelling somewhere for Thanksgiving. Does anyone have any suggestions about a place, preferably in Northern or Central Calif. that would be family friendly and have a holiday feel? Is it too much to ask for? Thanks for your ideas!

Although I've never been, I have always wanted to spend Thanksgiving at the Wuksachi Lodge in Sequoia National Park.

The Sequoia National Park is gorgeous in the fall, especially around Thanksgiving time. There is an apple stand in Miramonte called the Apple Place, they have really good fresh apple cider there and lots of different varieties of apples.

A place we like is the Pines Resort in Bass Lake, very family friendly. We like the suites with the jacuzzi tubs that open out to the deck overlooking the lake. www.basslake.com

It is a short drive to Yosemite. Very good restaurants at the resort, also. ***kim***

I'm traveling away for Thanksgiving for almost the opposite reason as having a family feel. My brother has given too much of a family feel bad attitude for years, so I'm outa here this year!
