Sunday Brunch - Manhattan

Recommendations are welcomed for Sunday Brunch on preferably the Eastside of Manhattan between 59th Street and Union Square. Want something with entertainment, Jazz, Blues, etc. Have heard that the following offer entertaining brunches: Guastavino's, Park Avalon, and Blue Water Grill. If you have any experience with the above mentioned, or can recommend others, you suggestions and comments are appreciated.

Gustavinos has a great atmosphere, but like many British run resturants fails to live up to expectations on both food and service (I'm Brit so I can say that !!!). Blue Water Grill does a good brunch, probably regarded as one of the best brunch places in NYC. However my vote stil goes to Park Avalon for all round experience. Great food, good service, prices are much mroe reasonable than Blue Water Grill and live Jazz makes for a great Sunday brunch.

Monica: Thanks for the advice, the Park Avalon seems like a good choice. If anyone has any other recommendations, it's appreciated.

I know this is not the area that you asked about, but I stumbled upon a Sunday brunch at Bubby's (corner of North Moore and Hudson in TriBeCa). It was delicious. Enjoy!!
