My fiance and I stayed at the Embassy Suites in Lake Buena Vista (approximately a half mile from Disney) in June, 1994. We loved the resort - both the bedroom and living room were spacious and immaculate. As far as price is concerned, it may be a bit higher than you wanted, but the cooked-to-order breakfast really was an added bonus. Tons of great food.

Disney Swan was great. More affordable than her sister the Dolphin, The Swan had a friendly staff, good food, and the sushi bar was terrific for a Disney hotel. Actually the Swan is managed by Westin Hotels. It is close to Epcot, and the Boardwalk is next door.

Last year I spent 6 weeks at Hawthorne Suites while my husband was on business travel. It was very roomy, has a great cold breakfast bar (fruits and cerals), and has a nice heated pool and spa. Its next to Sea World and a short drive to Disney. I hope you have fun!
