Suites in Orlando

We're looking for information and opinion of the Quality Suites Maingate East in Orlando. Have you been there? Do you know any other suites establishment close to Walt Disney World that are nice, clean and reasonable?

My fiance and I stayed at the Embassy Suites in Lake Buena Vista (approximately a half mile from Disney) in June, 1994. We loved the resort - both the bedroom and living room were spacious and immaculate. As far as price is concerned, it may be a bit higher than you wanted, but the cooked-to-order breakfast really was an added bonus. Tons of great food.

We are staying at Homewood suites. They have free transportation to WDW. They serve a deluxe continiental breakfast. I beleive they are a mile away from WDW, but the price is less than $80.00. Hope this helps.

the Marriott Orlando World is unbelievable. Stayed there 4 x with my son, who now is 12. Cannot go wrong. Free shuttle to DW. The largest outdoor pool we've ever seen and jacuzzis all over the place. Huge waterfall, slide... go there!

We have stayed at the Days Inn Suites and it meet
our criteria - CLEAN, CLOSE, and CHEAP. Also, we have stayed at condos (vacation villa) that have worked out well for us.

Disney Swan was great. More affordable than her sister the Dolphin, The Swan had a friendly staff, good food, and the sushi bar was terrific for a Disney hotel. Actually the Swan is managed by Westin Hotels. It is close to Epcot, and the Boardwalk is next door.

Last year I spent 6 weeks at Hawthorne Suites while my husband was on business travel. It was very roomy, has a great cold breakfast bar (fruits and cerals), and has a nice heated pool and spa. Its next to Sea World and a short drive to Disney. I hope you have fun!
