Suggested Restaurants for Dinners Under $30pp.

I'm looking for recommendations for dinner spots on the Strip (no buffets please). I am traveling on business and have a budget. Thanks!

It appears Lenore would be talking about Las Vegas?

Should we all assume that you're asking about restaurants in Las Vegas? Might of helped to include that fact in your header (or atleast someplace in your posting).

I know a good "strip" club that has a good roast beef sandwich special if you buy 2 lap dances for $10 each so it will fit your $30 budget. I assume that's what you mean by strip.

Sorry everybody! Since this was posted under the Nevada topic, I assumed people would know where I was headed. Yes, of course it's Las Vegas!!

Lenore, the only way we would find out it had been posted under the Nevada topic would be to do a search using Nevada. We need the location in the title or at least in your message. Posts in the US forum post without reference to what topic you selected.

Lenore.....Simply repost with the words Las Vegas attached to your title. I'm sure there are many travelers who can provide recommendations. Don't be .

Lenore, it is too bad you have never visited this site before. If you had you would realize that as you scroll down the list of topics on the left side of your screen there is nothing to tell anyone what "state" they were posted under. How in the world would we know it was posted under Nevada?

Funny what first pops into our minds...when I read "strip" I first thought of Sunset Strip. We have our own "homing devices" huh? It would help to clarify. Sam

Oops, it looks like Lenore just did clarify. I believe the Barbary Coast on the corner of Flamingo Blvd. has a very good restaurant (sorry I don't remember the name but when you enter off of Flamingo, just walk in and turn right and it's right there). They have excellent Chinese food as well as a real varied menu, including breakfast all day. We've eaten there often and the food and value is "2 thumbs up!"

Sam, I believe you mean the Victoria Room at the Barbary Coast. I live here and I like this place very much. Good food, lots of it at reasonable prices. I like the fact that you can enter off of Flamingo and practically walk right into it without wandering through a huge casino maze. This too would be a good restaurant for Lenore IMO. It may not have the ambiance, but you can't beat the food and prices. Paul

Lenore,
Don't worry about X, he is an idiot. He has nothing better to do then write dorky/trashy replies on this site. Lets see...I have too much time on my hands, I think I will make fun of people new to this site who want some simple advice. get a life.

Now to your question...There are tons of places that would fit into your price range. Most every hotel on the strip has an outstanding restaurant that will have entrees in the 20-30 dollar range. when you get there just go around to a couple hotels on the strip and most all have their menus posted outside the restaurant. Most all of them you cant go wrong.
Have a good time.

Thanks to Sam, Paul and Dan for actually responding to my post! Just for the record, I have posted dozens of questions and responded to many posts on this board since I discovered it in January. I am fully aware of how it works. Please forgive me for my unthinkable error.

Geez Lenore if you've been posting and answering since January why did you claim it was under the Nevada Post like everyone should have known that. Do you really know how it works around here? As previuosly stated why not repost with a better title so those who can help you will know up front what you are looking for?

Here is another vote for the Victoria Room at the Barbary Coast. I agree with posts by Sam and Paul. Great Chinese food and early morning breakfasts for $2.99. It is right by the reception desk.
