staying in venice

hi everyone

i've heard that you can't drive into the centre of venice, and am looking for a couple of nights accomodation and am assuming it is best to get accomodation on the outskirts???

can anyone recommend good camping/caravan accomodation that's really close to venice?

thanks!!!

You should post on the Europe board but you might check staying on the Lido where they do allow cars.

Hi MThom, I don't know if you have reposted on the Europe Board but here is a website that should be informative to you. It is: http://www.camp4less.co.uk/

You will see the Italian flag on the map, click that on and it shows various campsites including several near Venice. Have a beautiful trip!!
