Staying at Lighthouses

I have heard that some lighthouses also run B&B's (or at least allow people to stay at them). I am hoping someone here can provide me with some information. Any and all ifo will is appreciated.

Thanks
Mark J.

Mark:
Go to www.maine.com/lights/others/htm
This is a list of "All lighthouses known to offer accommodations" and is not limited to Maine or even the USA.
The Isle Au Haut lighthouse in Maine is one of the better set-ups going, from what I've been told by some who have stayed there. Checked into it a couple years ago but didn't end up making it that far up the coast. You are taken out to the lighthouse on the P.M. mail boat and then you're on your own for the night. Decent accommodations, apparently. A very unique experience. Could even be a bit of an adventure if the weather's bad. Good luck with your search.
