STAYING 7 NIGHTS AT BIG SKY LOOKING FOR IDEAS
Ideas for making the most of 7 nights in one place.
It appears driving times are long, does that mean day trips are not advisable?
We would like to return to home base in Big Sky every night.
Any help will be appreciated.

Here is me again after 7 days!!
Is there nobody who will help? We are spending 7 nights at Big Sky from June 26 to July 3 and can only do do day trips to various parts.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Have you been to Montana and Wyoming before? Any specific ideas about what you might like? Do you have each state's "Official" package? (You can order that on each state's web site. They usually provide terrific info, maps, etc.)
We flew into Billings, rented a car, and drove all over for 2 weeks out there about this time 2 years ago. Spent 3-4 days in and around Yellowstone Park (fabulous place); 2 days in Jackson, WY (neat spot); Casper, WY for 2 days (western museum there is fantastic); drove to South Dakota for Mt. Rushmore; and more.
Can you maybe mention interests?

For a lovely B&B, check out Yellowstone Expeditions B&B in Livingston, Montana. Nice people, nice place.
Also, "The Howlers Inn", outside Bozeman, which is very nice AND boasts an actual wolf pack in a large, multi-care enclosure adjacent to the inn!
