Statue of Liberty From Shore

Hello

Don't have time to take the ferry out to the statue but was thinking of showing my daughter the statue from a distance. How good will the view be if the weather is good?

Thanks.

Sorry that you can't fit in the ferry ride, but if the visibility is good than don't miss the chance to show off Lady Liberty.

Go to Google Images and type: statue of liberty from battery park

That'll give you an idea about the view.

If you can spare an hour, then take a round trip on the Staten Island Ferry. It offers a great view of the Statue of Liberty, as well as the lower New York City skyline.

You don't say where you want the view from. Liberty State Park in Jersey City is less than 2,000 feet from the Statue of Liberty on the NJ side.
