State of Emergency w 15" rain !!
What islands are hardest hit? We flew out Friday afternoon at the beginning of the stormy weather, Maui just had heavy rain at that point. Terrible to learn of today's announcement.

Parts of all the islands had severe flooding--except Kauai (where I live).

Nice! I was lucky to dodge most of the weather although I did slightly rearrange my plans, skipping Kauai entirely.

I landed last night in Long Beach before the rain, but it's HERE now!

Our weather in Maui week before last was fabulous except for Friday, day of departure when all the storms were just beginning!
