Hmmmm..since "editorial intervention" seems to be about as rare here as hen's teeth I doubt it would be practical to rely on them to spend much time deciding what is "good" advice.
Besides, what's "good" for one person can be totally useless to another.
IMO, I think you might take your own follow-up post to heart..the one about putting some sort of icon next to people who, "only come here to cause trouble."

When you wish upon a star makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires will come to you
If your heart is in your dreams nothing else is too extreme
When you wish upon a star as dreamers do
Fate is kind she brings to those who love
The sweet fulfillment of their secret longing
Like a boat out of the blue fate steps in and sees you thru
When you wish upon a star your dreams come true

Scarlett, as long you are giving out stars (and I love a little bling), it was me who suggested the troublemaker/troll icons as well. Dear intrepid was suggesting that I was deserving of the icon as a person who comes here only to cause trouble. CHARMING!! Nothing like accusing another person of being a troublemaker to promote goodwill!!

Catch a falling
and put it in your pocket, never let it fade away...Catch a falling
and put it in your pocket, save it for a
rainy day...I've got my own star...sort of...

When you're born on the night of the full moon of the heavens, you become Kamahinaohoku = the moon and the stars.

Just noticed this thread. Thanks for the fun!
The problem with TripAvisor's "Experts" is that they can self-nominate. What's with that?
It would be nice though, if there were some help for a newbie to discern trusted advisors from the bunchargums of the board.

LOL, yes, sweetie, actually, my grandmother absolutely loved (are you ready?) Perry Como and Marty Robbins. She would listen to them as she fussed around the kitchen, singing under her breath, cute as she could be.
I have great memories of those voices

Scarlett - my mother loved to watch him on TV. And at the end of each program there were (I think) 2 women singing, "letters, we get letters, we get stacks and stacks of letters...Dear Perry, would you be so kind, and sing this request, of the song I like best?..." Sometimes I frighten even myself with my memories. Don't even get me started on the commercials...
