St.Simons or Jekyll Island with Kids?

Can't decide between The King and Prince on St.Simons and the Clarion on Jekyll. Kids are 10,11,13...thought we'd do a lot of bike riding, shelling. How about Sepola Island? Leaving next week...Help..

Dee,

I live in Georgia and I admit it has been a long time (6 years)since I visited the coast. However, from what I remember, your young ones would enjoy Jekyll more than they would enjoy St. Simons. St. Simons has a lot of retirees and is more "ritzy" than Jekyll. In my opinion, Jekyll caters much more to families than St. Simons Also, Jekyll is not far from Savannah. Savannah offers lots of sightseeing and has an interesting Riverwalk. Enjoy your trip.
