St.Louis or San Diego

I am planning a trip this spring or summer to either St.Louis or San Diego.I'm not sure which one to go to.I like cities with nice hotels and a good skyline.Which one should I go to.

I live in St. Louis. It's a nice city, but not particularly "special". It would be significantly cheaper to visit than San Diego, if that's a concern. The nicest hotels are the Ritz Carlton in suburban Clayton or the Adam's Mark downtown. There is a lot to do here and many museums are free of charge. Our zoo is free and I think San Diego's costs $18. Pray for good baseball this summer too.

St. Louis can be pretty humid, while San Diego has much better weather no matter when you go. Its great!

I live in San Diego and have spent some time in St. Louis.

This is a no brainer. San Diego is the only logical choice. Far better climate, more to see and do and generally a nicer area.

I definitely do not agree that St. Louis is considerably cheaper to visit. The zoo may be free in St. Louis but lodging is certainly not any cheaper. There is a much greater variety of accomodations to suit almost any budget in San Diego.

Saint Louis has somewhat better museums and MUCH more history. San Diego has better weather, kilometers of ocean beaches, and a much better zoo (expensive but worth it). I've been to both and would choose San Diego.
