St. Louis for Christmas

Hi! My family is considering going somewhere for Christmas, possibly St. Louis. There will be around 13 people coming..3 of them kids. Should we do a hotel or rent a house? Do you have any suggestions for a place that really has a great Christmas feel and decoration? Thanks!!!

This is an old post, but now it's my question and I like to group like items together! We're set w/hotel for our Christmas in ST. Louis, but other suggestions? Botanical Garden w/Chihuly exhibit is on our short list. Thank you.

Santa's Magical Kingdom is really neat.
Anheuser Busch does a really nice job with their display.
Tilles Park has a great display called Winter Wonderland.

Thanks, No_name, for suggestions and Keith, just in case you are also thinking about Chihuly, I think it ends January 1. Wishing safe trips to all who travel this week!

Unfortunately no -- the only morning we could go was "Members/Friends Only" scheduled; we explained we had to leave Missouri that day but no exceptions were offered. At least we were able to see what it looked like from the outside! Thanks for asking --
