Spa's

Has anyone been to the Spa at Ihilani in Ko Olina, Oahu? Or on Maui at the Hyatt Regency? Or have any good suggestions for a day spa or a place or a place for accupressure?

Hi CopperCavalier! Since you're a new poster, just wanted to offer the suggestion of making your subject title more specific. Even if you selected Hawaii when you were posting, that would only be apparent to those doing a search itself. Otherwise, all posts just show up under the generic "United States" listing. Good luck -- hope you get some good replies!

I have been to the spa many times at the Ihilani. It was excellent before the Marriott purchased it. We used to get the week long spa package that offered one treatment (any) per day. I believe the new package only offers massage or a facial. The clientele is different than it used to be which is why we stopped going there. The massage rooms directly back the parking garage on the upper level. The last straw for us was having to be subjected to kids and parents yelling outside through my entire massage. The therapist kept apologizing because althouh numerous signs are posted people just ignore it anyways. The walls are very thin. If you decide to book the Ihilani my suggestion would be to request a massage room on the lower floor only. Otherwise you may be very disappointed. Enjoy.

PS, the woman's section has a very nice oversized jaccuzi you may want to take advantage of if you do decide to go there.

The Hyatt in Waikiki just built one I want to check out. We also have several Aveda spas. The Hyatt on Kauai or the Grand Wailea on Maui are good.
