They really love it there, and it's not quite as hot as Palm Desert or Palm Springs during the summer.

My mom and dad recently moved from Palm Desert (to hot) to Carlsbad and into La Costa Glenn. It is very upscale and you get some of your investment back when you no longer need the unit. It is a full purchase of a apartment like condo or even detached homes.

Carlsbad is great. My MIL lived in Oceanside (close to Vista), then moved to hot in the summer Hemet.
