Our stay is limited by Amtrak bus stop. Last time it was at Embassy suites - there is a large back yard for all buses.
In that area, I like Horizon - cheaper, and a nice pool. If the cheapest, Capri is fine, bare bones, but clean.
If anybody wants to share a room, I may be up to it - not sure if my husband is coming or not. As usual, he would not talk about the next trip before completing the one that is planned already (in May).

BTW on the Lounge I suggested Kalani's Restaurant as a meeting-place.
Can't help you on places to stay. We get to stay at DD and SIL's house on the Nevada side. (It's nice to have relatives with a house there !!)

I probably will be around...it's a long way to the middle of August but I'm certainly not traveling this year and August is usually hotter than Hades so it's a lot cooler at the Lake, so I'll keep up with the thread. I'll pick Holly up if she can come.

I will be working on it probably into June. If the kids are willing to drive, we might even make a week out of it, visiting all places around.
And sorry I haven't made a list yet, it's on my mind, just not enough time - don't want to miss anyone

Just got home yesterday and have been wading through all the e-mail that accumulated while we were gone, trying to catch up on forum, etc. I have an August birthday too! We haven't been to Tahoe for ages and would really enjoy it. We'll sure try to be there. Please add us to the list as probably Faina.
