Some questions about Layton, Utah area

Hi! My husband and I (and our 2 dogs) will be in Layton, Utah for a few days next week (he'll be working at Hill AFB). I was wondering about a few of my hobbies while I am there.

Do you know of any good scrapbooking stores?
Do you know of any dog parks?
Do you know of any Agility training centers?

Agility is where you run obsticles with your dog (A Frame, teeter-totter, tunnels, jumps, etc)...I have Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties) and am training to enter Agility Trials this Fall....thought it would be fun to get in on some training in the area....

Any of these things would be fine nearby as well....(nearby towns)....

Thanks for any help!

You may want to try calling the local Chamber of Commerce for advice.

Wow Shadow! Hi there, long time no hear! How are things in Ridgecrest???

I know there have got to be some good scrapbooking stores in Layton, but since I'm not into it, I can only suggest the yellow pages. It's popular here in UT.

As to the dog parks and agility centers, I would also just have to suggest the internet. Sorry I can't be more help, but yours are certainly not the usual visitor questions!

Barbara S (and hubby) and I got together last month for a nice dinner in SLC. Super nice people and we will get together again before the end of summer.

I wish we could do a mini GTG in Layton, but I'm off to Montana for vacation next week.

Maybe Barbara can help with your questions. I hope you have a nice visit.

Ciao

I'm not much help. I don't scrapbook or dog train. You are missing the big scrapbook event - http://www.scrapbookusaexpo.com/
Here's a link to a list of sites - http://slsites.com/dir.html?category_id=1394
Stamping Station is in Layton.

Dayle - have fun in Montana!

Shadow,

hope you do have a great time with the pups! I'm taking mine with me on vacation. I am really sorry I'm going to miss you.

Barbara - Thanks! I'll do a short trip report. This is all new territory for me on this trip.

Ciao
