I am planning to travel the first week of Nov, that's the only week the condo i want is available. I could also travel in Oct and stay at a different (less desirable) condo. Prior to 60 days of arrival date I only lose $50, but after 60 days I would lose the entire amount unless they can rent it out.

I recently booked a flight to Maui through Value Travel Hawaii. I just looked them up for LAX to LIH for 11/01/06 to 11/08/06 and got results ranging from about $362 to $392 on Delta, NW, Continental and HI. Here's their link.

I also spoke to the guys there after booking and I was able to verify my Delta flight immediately after processing my card.

WOOHOO!!!! I just bought (well, put on hold) direct flight tickets from aa.com for $388+fees. As long as something weird doesn't happen since they are only on hold....

There's a great offer right now from www.pandaonline.com I just priced some dates and I found tickets for $260 pp. I'm debating on purchasing them, but hurry, you have till tomorrow to purchase the tickets. And most of the flights are thru delta.

I searched Panda for the time I am going in Nov and the rates for 1-stops were more than what I'm paying for non-stop on American. I think $420 for non-stop to kauai is pretty darn good and I'm glad I bought them...don't think it's good idea to risk it in the hopes that it will be even lower than that. I'm just glad that they came back down again!

Check out www.allabouthawaii.com They have some of the best fares to the Islands. Also, keep checking with Hawaiian and Aloha. Get on the "email" list so they send you their specials. 3 days ago, Aloha had a special covering most of California's airports to Maui and Oahu. $169.00 each way for travel between Mid August and the early part of November. I cancelled my current airfare to Maui($1259.00) and booked with Aloha for my daughter and I ($740 total w/taxes etc.). The deals are out there. Keep looking. Aloha has good fares but you need to travel Tuesday through Thursday for the best fares. Good luck
