Snow play in May (now) near Salt Lake City?
So we have a day in Ogden before passing on to another area. Is it too late in the year for snow play for little kids anywhere? They don't want to ski, just play. We don't ever get snow, so I know they'd love it. Thanks!

You could call Snowbasin Ski Resort near Ogden and see if they still have snow the kids could play in. I know they still have snow at Snowbird because they are still open for spring skiing. http://www.snowbird.com/ski_board/spring.html

The Cottonwood Canyons got over 8" yesterday. You can drive up any canyon and see snow at this point. Millcreek Canyon is easy to get to but there is a $2-3 entry fee. There is a spot up Big Cottonwood Canyon where people go sledding. There is a parking area off to the side of the road. Park and play all you want!!

I didn't accidentally link to Snowbird, It's only an hour drive from Ogden and they are open and have snow. The mountain is awe inspiring and there should be shops and restaurants open. You can pay to take a tram ride up the mountain, which the kids would love. Have fun!
