I just would like to say that some of the participants on this board have way too much time on their hands.

I've been wanting to say that for a long time. This thread titled "smoking in restaurants" has strayed SO far from the subject seems a perfect forum. I'm going away for a while.

Bye, all.

Bye, Leona, you're right. Some of us do have way too much time on our hands. What do you do when you're stuck all day sitting by the phone waiting for the doctor to call to see if they have decided they can or won't operate on your 84 year old mother who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer this morning? Sorry to be so personal, but I think it's unfair to try to judge how other people spend their time. I see you took the time to post here with a comment that had nothing to do with the subject either.

By the way. I've only answered questions here, and my final post would have been the one answering what cities are in Citrus County as that was a concern of hilarygg, probably wanting to know if her trip was taking her there. But the rest of my posts have all been explanations to silly attacks against my simple answer. Sorry that if offends people if we try to clarify ourselves when our posts have been misinterpreted.

Holy Crap Patrick! I'm so sorry about your mother!

You've certainly had your hands full lately and I send good thoughts and prayers.

Patrick, I am so sorry the results were bad news. You know your friends are here, sending virtual hugs and suppport.
Whatever else is going on here is waaay off topic and absolutely unneccessary. Personal attacks are always unpleasant and uncalled for.
And if one has too much time on ones hands for whatever reason, the great thing about Fodors etc, is that we don't have to tell anyone why we are here, and they have no right to judge why you are here.
Poor hilarygg, she must be cringing at what her innocent question dredged up!

Patrick...I am truly sorry about your mom. I hope everything works out okay.

I am going to respond to this for the last time. The City of Crystal River. Check out www.crystalriverfl.org They do consider themselves a city.

I never meant for this to get so out of hand...I really wanted to warn the original poster that there are restaurants/bars that have found ways to circumvent the law. That's all.
Peace

To all- I'm so sorry my question caused such conflict. To Patrick- My thoughts are with you. We have had a lot of cancer in my family including ovarian (some with very good outcomes I might add). I hope your mom does well. My thoughts are with you. Hilarygg
