SLC - skiing last week of April?

I am traveling to Salt lake City last week of April / First days of may, and thinking of bringing the kids for late season skiing.
Are ski areas mostly closed by then?
Any ideas will be appreciated!

I only know about the Park City/Deer Valley areas. Park City closes 13 April and Deer Valley 7 April.

I think you'll be a little too late. Sometimes Snowbird has the very top area still open.

Assuming we get our normal spring snow fall Snowbird and Alta should be open. Usually, Park City and Deer Valley are the first to close the season. The other resorts remain open longer. I would go online and contact these other resorts. They should be able to give you an projected date of closing. My guess is that you will be able to ski at Snowbird and Alta the last week of April for sure, and perhaps into May as well. It will just depend upon the amount of snow and quality of snow by that time.

Ditto, the Park City areas will be closed, but the Bird's normal closing weekend is always first weekend in May. Then, as long as there is snow, and there usually is, they go to a spring, then summer schedule. The tram and Little Cloud lift operate as long as there is snow, providing skiing at the top of the mountain.

Spring skiing in Little Cottonwood is fantastic and uncrowded!
