Skiing Taos?

Anybody been to Taos yet this season or know what's going on with the ski/snow conditions?
Any chance that they will actually get some snow by mid-March?
Is it even worthwhile going given the poor winter they've been having?

Their radio ads say the mountain is open top to bottom, but I have no idea what conditions will be like in March.

Anybody have the latest update on ski conditions in New Mexico and whether they can actually improve?
I am coming from the East Coast and supposed to go mid-March to Taos and only have a few more days to decide whether to cancel. Anybody been skiing yet this year in New Mexico?
Thanks for your help!

check www.epicski.com on the resorts and travel board

You'll find plenty of updates on conditions there.

A business associate cancelled his trip to Taos for the week of Feb 6. Several of his friends who went to Taos, shortened the trip because there is not enough snow to make it worthwhile. Hope that helps.
