Skiing in Beaver Creek, CO
Has anyone been skiing in Beaver Creek? We have done Crested Butte, Steamboat, Aspen, and Telluride and wondered how it compared. We are in our late 30's and are cautious skiers. I like to ski in/ski out and nightlife is not important but no lift lines and no crowds are. Thank you for your help

I haven't skied any of the other places you listed, but I've skied Vail, Copper Mt., Keystone & some mtns. in Utah as well as Beaver Creek. I'm an intermediate and somewhat cautious skier in my early 30's, and I loved Beaver Creek. It's one of my favorites - short lift lines, lots of manageable blue runs, and some fun restaurants at the base of the mountain. When we've been there (late March) the mountains haven't been too crowded either - nice to not worry as much about being mowed down. I've never stayed there, so don't know about ski-in ski-out or pricing (could be rather high - lift tickets are pricey) Try it out if price isn't a factor.

I lived in Vail/Beaver Creek for 5 years and skied every season start to end. Even during the heaviest holiday rushes, lift lines were very manageable. Do to the many high speed quad lifts, you can always find an uncrowded lift area. The snow, apre-ski, and ski in/ski out facilities; in my opinion, are far better than Crested Butte, Steamboat, Aspen, and Telluride for the intermediate/advanced skier.
