Ski trip from Nashville
Does anyone have suggestions for a good place to ski within a 4 - 5 hour drive from Nashville? I've looked in Perfect North. However, I'm not sure there is enough there to keep skiers busy for 4 nights.
Thanks

How about a ski resort in North Carolina? Look at the link below and mapquest each destination to see which is the closest to you.

If you have a ski shop or sporting goods store that sells equipment near you, try going in and asking them. When I was in MA all the ski shops and some sporting goods stores had brochures and trail maps for most New England mountains. Here in Delaware, skiing is about 3 hours away... but out local Sports Authority sells ski equipment and has a display full of ski resort brochures for mountains in driving distance.
It may be worth taking a look if you are going by one.
The furthest south ski resort I know of is Snowshoe in WV but that would be like a 9 hours ride from Nashville.

The North Carolina suggestion isn't a bad one. I put Sugar Mountain Resort in Banner El, NC into Mapquest and it says it is about 5.5 hours away from Nashville, so fairly close to your ideal time frame.
