ski passes for Snowbird and Alta

We are coming to Salt Lake City from Feb 28 until March 6. We want to ski Snowbird and Alta. Where can we buy the cheapest lift passes? Do we have to buy them in advance?

66,

Are you staying in SLC? If so, go to The Village Sports Den on Foothill Drive just east of downtown. They have discounted lift tickets for almost all resorts. I'm not sure about Alta. Alta is always differnt because they are the least expensive ski area (of major class), so further discounts might not be available.

You can also get discounted tickets at the Smith's grocery stores ticket counters. I haven't bought any there in eons, so don't know if they have all resorts.

Yes you need to buy them in advance because the stores won't be open as early as you want to go skiing - I hope.

If you are some of those who don't make it to the hill until noon, no problem!

Thanks! Would these tickets be cheaper than the Superpass?

The Superpass includes transportation on buses and Trax, so if you're not renting a car then it would be cheaper.

There is also Canyon Sports

I bought a 4 day super pass a while ago, any others we figure we will buy at Canyon Sports.
