Silver Springs, Florida

We are an English family of 4 visiting Florida in August (2 adults & 2 children 9 & 15).
Any advice or views on Silver Springs area would be appreciated. Spending week or so in Orlando area doing the parks and then travelling north ,maybe Fort Augustine or maybe the Panhandle , not sure yet.

My name is Lucas and I think I can help you with at least some info about Orlando. I work for a web site here in O town, www.theorlandowebsite.com we send information packages which include maps, schedules, coupons, etc..., to people's houses, that way, people have all the information on their hands even before they live home. We also deal with discounted tickets, accomodations, coupons, and so on....
We do have free tickets for any theme park (did I mentioned that?)
If you need more info, check the site or please e-mail me back at [email protected] I will be glad to help you all.

Thank you Lucas P.

Graham,

Do not bother with the www.orlandowebsite.com website. It is just a cover for another sleazy timeshare sales presentation. To the scum that keep posting for this website, advertising is not allowed on this forum and you are in direct violation of the rules. Do not fall for this scam there is nothing free on this website even the offer of free information has an $8.00 charge for so called postage and handling (What exactly is handling)?

BEWARE and Lucas P. and your buddies, we are onto you.

As for your Silver Springs question, I would not bother. With all the great parks in Orlando they will blow Silver Springs out of the water. Plus, if you are staying in Orlando, the drive would be over an hour to Silver Springs.

Oops, I just read you were planning on heading north anyway. Still, I wouldn't recommend it. But definitely look into St. Augustine. Very charming little city and very close to the beaches, which would be nice too.
