should I go to Tucson?

I'm considering a weekend in Tucson in November. (In case it matters - I am an early-thirties woman traveling alone). I'm looking for 1) beautiful scenery; 2) easy hikes; 3) a break from busy urban life; 4) getting treated well but not bothered (always a challenge when I travel alone).

Is Tucson a good choice? If so, what activities etc. do you recommend?

Thanks everyone!
Cheryl

I think Tucson fits your needs well.
I'd recommend Loews' Ventana Canyon, which backs right up to the Coronado Nat'l Forest and Sabino Canyon, where there's great hiking for all skill levels.
Not a hangout for young males seeking to bother women seeking a little peace in my experience.

Canyon Ranch Health Resort is in Tucson. The best vacation for a single female who loves to hike, exercise and get pampered.!

I love Tucson but suggest you stay at one of the beautiful b&b's near Saguaro Park - for instance, Casa Tierra. They are so beautiful and right near great hiking, etc.
