short-term rentals in Boston
Hi folks, need your help again!
I'm going
) to Boston for an extended stay (March 25-April 14), and need a short-term apartment for rent. I've tried the websites suggested in the lodging alternatives here in Fodor's, but just two apts are available for this period. I would like to have more options to choose from, so I would like to know if you can help me with other websites or suggestions. More info about what I'm looking for: Back Bay area (Green line T), studio or one-bedroom, Internet mandatory, full kitchen if possible(stove/microwave/refrigerator/houseware), washer/drier in the building would be a plus. I'll be with my husband, we are a non-smoking couple, no kids, no pets.
Thanks in advance for your attention!
Best regards,
Debora

Have read and passed by your post several times since I had no really good ideas. I think you will not easily find what you are seeking and may have to make some compromises in terms of amenities or location.
Boston is very expensive for all types of housing - rentals, owning and hotels. Since landlords and hoteliers can charge a lot, they do - leaving little in way of reasonably priced rental such as you are seeking.
Have you tried regular, but lower end hotels and spoken to management about getting a deal for your 3 week stay - maybe forgoing housekeeping, prepaying, etc. I know of others that have done this in other cities with success.
The other issue is that the end of your visit is at beginning of Passover/Easter/School vacation/Patriots Day weekend and week - probably the second worst time to find inexpensive lodging in Boston (the worst being college commencement)
