Shipyard condos Key West

As accommodation, the Shipyard condos are great. However, there apparently is now, in place, a local law making short-term residential rentals illegal in, at least, Key West.
This is an issue that's been booting around the Keys for some years now. That, of course, is neither here nor there. The issue is whether they're actually enforcing it, particularly in the Truman Annex properties.
The KW Citizen (newspaper) is online. I'd do some checking there. And also ask the person/organization from whom you're renting. If it were me, absent evidence to the contrary, I'd go for it. Understanding that I might be at risk of losing my rent.

Hi - I think you made a lovely choice. The Shipyard Units are very nice. I stayed there last summer and totally enjoyed it. The pool area was pretty dead - maybe it was the time of the year?? Keep in mind that the units are individually owned and decorated. Also, we had a problem with ants in the kitchen of our unit (210-10). There is some kind of conconction in a blue bottle to help with these sugar ants. In case you get them, go to the hardware store and pick up a bottle. They will know what you are talking about. If you have any other questions, please feel free to shoot me an email.
