No, but there are tons of companies here and all are comperable (there vans are at the airport all the time).

That rate seems a little high (assuming it is SFO and not Oakland). You may want to call around a bit more--be sure to let them know you want to charter the van. It seems they are charging you per person. For that cost, you could practically get a large limousine/

I'm assuming you are using that UK expression "return trip" meaning both ways or "round trip" as we say in the US? In that case I think $55 each way for 7 people sounds pretty good!

Concur, that's a great price -- $110 round trip for 7 people. Most usually charge $14 per person each way from SFO into the city.

Ah, I thought it was just the outbound! Yes, that is a good price for roundtrip.

I still remember my first trip to London and trying to get train tickets. They kept saying "the return ticket is _____" and I kept saying, "but how do I get there, I need that ticket too."

Clever term "return ticket" meaning round trip.

The subway (BART) goes directly from the International terminal to San Francisco and the larger Bay Area (Union Square is the Powell st. stop). It's easy, safe, and clean. Cost and schedules can be found at www.bart.gov
