Sfo Airport customs and connection

Is an hour and 21 minutes enough time to make it thru customs and then get from the international terminal to terminal 1? It will be friday night of memorial day weekend. It seems to me a close one. My mom is 73 so running thru the airport would be difficult.

That seems like a tight connection anytime, let alone on a Friday before a holiday weekend.

Do you have any other options? If you can get something with a longer connection time, I'd do it.

Are you flying to a destination with a lot of flights from SFO? If there are a lot of flights between SFO and your destination, then if you miss your connection you can always get on the next flight. If not, you might be stuck overnight and lose a day of your vacation to travel delays.

J Correa, I thought that was a tight connection, also.
I checked Alaska airlines schedule for SFO to Seattle and it looks like our flight is the last one, unless they can get creative. Atleast we will be returning from our vacation if we can't make the connection.
I know our flight from Puerto Vallarta/SFO looks almost full by looking at the their seat map.So if it leaves PV on time i will be surprised.

If you are returning home and don't mind the posibility of getting stuck overnight in SF, then I'd chance it.

That may be cutting it close. You have to claim your luggage off the international flight, go thru customs, then stand in line to re-check your luggage and have it x-rayed again. With a 73 year old mother, I would have options.
