As I wrote above, I would be inclined to sign up with airbnb if I were planning to rent rooms in my home.

But I would absolutely spend the money to talk to a lawyer -- in my jurisdiction -- who is experienced in liability and rental real estate.

You will pay for the lawyer in a couple of rentals, and you can't rely on the advice of random strangers on the Internet, including me, to know what will be covered and what won't where you live with the insurance policies that you and airbnb have.

A million dollar umbrella sounds like a lot of money until you get sued. It isn't.
