The Rehabilitation Center in Malibu currently hosts daily meals for Ben Affleck, Robert Downey Jr, Paula Poundstone and Danny Bonaduce was just 'released'.
That's a pretty high yield starsighting environment.

Dennis Rodman's house in Newport (stop by on Saturday night about 4 AM) is another high yield site.

Your humor is always great. thanks for the reply. I know like I osund like a star-struck geek from kansas but I figure if I go all that way I want to see someone famous.

Cafes in Malibu during the breakfast hours tend to be good places for star spottings.

Nate 'n Als on Beverly Dr. in BH is a good breakfast spot - we seldom go when someone recognizable isn't in the place. Good latkes, too.

Either of "The Ivy" restaurants. One in Hollywood one in Santa Monica.

Any of the cafes in Bev. Hills.
Dan Tanas on Santa Monica Blvd.
in W. Holly.
But, you have to act cool when you do
see them, no screaming, panting. Don't make a scene, act like you see them
every day.

Malibu definitely has the highest star ratio of any city in the area. Check out Coogie's or Marmalade Cafe for breakfast/lunch or somewhere more expensive for dinner.
