seaworld accomodations HELP!!

We are going to Seaworld in March 1999. What is the closest hotel to that park? We need fun pools, restaurants, etc. for kids. We don't want to do WDW, but might consider Animal Kingdom. Can we do each of these (SW and AK) in one day each? We appreciate any info. Thanks.

Yes you can do both Sea World (about 6 hours) and Animal Kingdom (depends on how much of Sea World you have seen) in two days max.
Was not that impressed with Animal Kingdom when we were their in Jan.
But if you have not been their you have to do it!
Their are Hotels and Motels all over the place that are close to both Sea World and Disney.
Try looking in the Kissimmee area or hotels close to Disney's Market Place.
Have a good time.

Marg,

The closest Hotel to Sea World is the Orlando Resort. It is across the street within walking distance to SW. It is pretty nice and has a few restaurants and a nice pool with basketball courts and tennis courts. You could definitely do Animal Kingdom and Sea World in 2 days.

Thanks for the help everyone. We decided on Sheraton World Resort, also close to SW. Now if we can just get reservations for the dinner show at SW we'll be in business! Think we'll save AK for another trip. Thanks!
